Two Rivers Park Engagement Session: Jace & Katie in Little Rock

Open fields, soft evening light, and a dog named Gator who stole the whole show.

Jace & Katie (and Gator) · Two Rivers Park, Little Rock

Jace and Katie's Two Rivers Park engagement session is one of my favorite Little Rock, Arkansas engagement shoots — mostly because their dog, Gator, came along and stole the show. Set at the confluence of the Arkansas and Little Maumelle Rivers, Two Rivers Park's open fields and soft evening light made the perfect prelude to their upcoming wedding day. Thank you both so much for letting me capture these images.

Why Two Rivers Park Is Great for Engagement Photos

With 1,000 acres of open space, wide fields, and river views, Two Rivers Park gives couples room to actually move — walking, laughing, chasing a dog through the grass — instead of posing stiffly in one spot. It's one of my go-to recommendations for Little Rock couples who want engagement photos that feel candid rather than staged.

Bringing Your Dog to Your Engagement Session

Gator made this session. If you've got a dog who's part of the family, I always encourage couples to bring them along — a few minutes of chasing, sniffing, or just sitting patiently for photos usually produces some of the most genuine shots of the whole session.
