Check Your Date
Hometown venues, the Old Mill a few minutes away, and a relaxed photographer who just wants you to enjoy the day.
Check Your DateSherwood is a close-knit city on the north side of the metro, and a lot of the couples I meet from here want their wedding to feel the same way — comfortable, personal, and full of the people they love.
I'm based in southwest Little Rock, about 25 minutes away, and I photograph weddings, engagement sessions and wedding films for Sherwood couples. I'll help with the timeline, keep things moving without making it feel like a production, and capture what actually happened.
Curious what it costs? Every collection is laid out on my investment page.

Sherwood has a city-run event center plus easy access to larger venues on the north side of the metro:
The city's largest rental facility, with two rooms (each with a stage), a shared catering kitchen and two outdoor pavilions. A budget-friendly, flexible option close to home.
A large event center just up the road with indoor and outdoor space — ideal for bigger guest lists.
The E.O. Manees House and the rest of North Little Rock's Argenta district are a quick drive south.
Venue details and availability change, so confirm current offerings directly with each venue before you plan around one.

Some of the best spots in the metro are just minutes from Sherwood:
In North Little Rock's Lakewood neighborhood, minutes from Sherwood — stonework, footbridges and a pond, with storybook charm.
Brick storefronts and murals for a city look, with plenty of places to grab a drink after.
Your neighborhood, the field behind your parents' house, the restaurant where you had your first date — personal spots often make the best photos.
Wedding films are a great fit for the kind of family-centered celebrations I see from Sherwood couples — the toasts, the grandparents on the dance floor, the voices you'll want to hear again in twenty years.
See wedding filmsCity facilities like Sherwood Forest have their own booking rules, so check details like decorating windows and alcohol policies with the city when you reserve.
With a venue close to home, consider a first look at your house or a nearby park — it gives us relaxed portraits before guests arrive and keeps the evening free for the party.
No. Sherwood is about 25 minutes from my Little Rock studio and part of my regular coverage area.
Yes. It's a flexible city-run space, and I'll plan portraits around the pavilions and grounds as well as inside.
The Old Mill in North Little Rock is just minutes away. Argenta works well for a city look, and a personally meaningful spot is always a great option.
Yes. I offer wedding films alongside photography, so one team covers both.

Tell me a little about your day and venue, and I'll be in touch — no pressure, just a friendly conversation.
