Glass chapels in the woods, historic Bathhouse Row, and lake-country sunsets — one of my favorite places in Arkansas to photograph a wedding.
Check Your DateHot Springs is one of the most photogenic places to get married in Arkansas. You've got the glass-and-timber Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens, the old-world grandeur of Bathhouse Row and The Arlington, and the lakes and ridgelines of the Ouachitas all within a short drive of each other.
I've photographed weddings and bridal sessions here, and it's a drive I'm always happy to make — Hot Springs is about 50 minutes from my studio in southwest Little Rock. I cover weddings, engagement sessions, and wedding films, with the same relaxed, documentary approach I bring everywhere.
Curious what it costs? Every collection is laid out on my investment page.

Hot Springs' best-known venues are well worth their reputation. A few that come up most:
Soaring glass and wood surrounded by forest — the light in this chapel is unlike anywhere else in the state. I've photographed a wedding here and wrote up the whole day.
Around 210 acres of gardens with several ceremony and reception settings, from intimate garden corners to larger pavilions. Gorgeous for bridal portraits, too.
A Hot Springs landmark for more than a century, with a grand Crystal Ballroom. Many couples marry at Garvan and host the reception or rehearsal dinner here.
Venue details and availability change, so confirm current offerings directly with each venue before you plan around one.

Hot Springs packs a lot of variety into one session. Spots I'd suggest:
Historic bathhouse architecture and a brick promenade above Central Avenue — elegant, timeless, and easy to walk between looks.
Big views over the Ouachita Mountains for couples who want scale and a sense of place.
Water, open sky and long sunsets. Perfect for a relaxed, golden-hour session by the shore.
Hot Springs is a dream for wedding films. The way light moves through Anthony Chapel, the sound of a historic ballroom filling up, the lake at dusk — it all translates beautifully to video. If you're on the fence about adding a film, this is the place I'd encourage it.
See wedding filmsGarvan Woodland Gardens is a public garden with its own hours and policies for weddings and portraits, so confirm details like photography permits and timing directly with them when you book.
Hot Springs fills up on race weekends and holidays, so if you have a lot of out-of-town guests, lock in a hotel block early. A two-location day (ceremony at Garvan, reception downtown) is very doable — I'll build the drive into the timeline.
Yes. Hot Springs is about 50 minutes from my Little Rock studio and one of the closer stops in my coverage area, so there's no added travel fee.
Yes — I've photographed a wedding at Anthony Chapel and a bridal session at Garvan Woodland Gardens. Both are written up on my blog.
Bathhouse Row and the Grand Promenade for historic elegance, Hot Springs Mountain Tower for big views, and Lake Ouachita or Lake Hamilton for a golden-hour session by the water.
Absolutely. It's a common Hot Springs setup — I'll plan the drive between locations into your timeline so nothing gets rushed.

Tell me a little about your day and venue, and I'll be in touch — no pressure, just a friendly conversation.
